I am a designer with loves for the old printing craftsmanship. I try to use this in my work as much as possible, but also experiment with new techniques. @GLUE-festival I’m showcasing a series of handmade postcards, notebooks and some poster artwork printed with old & new technologies combined in letterpress printing. I designed the illustrations and letters by hand or digitally and used the laser cutter of our Makerspace to create printing plates that I can use on my 140-year-old printing press. Most of the artwork is made with left-over materials I get from several sources, from the paper and ink to the printing materials. Would you like to see the printing press in action?
