My name is Carlos Victimo, I am an artist, I am 33 years old and I use fashion as an excuse to create. I grew up in a beautiful but traditional part Mexico (La Paz B.C.S) and already as a young guy I discovered, that I had different ambitions than other youngsters around me. Beauty attracted me, fashion attracted me and I decided to dedicate my life to this. I became a fashion stylist and art director. And after a very inspiring and successful period in Mexico, I decided I wanted to broaden my horizons. Following a long and not easy way I have been exploring the world to get inspired and get clear what I was looking in life. I started working in western Europe, in various cowntries. But it was in Japan that I discovered photography was definitely my real way, that my creativity reaches the full extend with a camera in my hands. As a stylist sometimes I was not able to put my ideas in a picture in the exact way that I wanted it. That’s why I desired to make the pictures myself. I settled in Amsterdam in 2020: a lively and inspiring city and a good basis to work from. And from here I explore the most amazing fashion, find unique model profiles and make the best picture possible, in a creative and unconventional setting. Knowing that I will never make the perfect picture, because my work can always approve.
